This river does produce some large fish; Northern Pike to 20 plus pounds, Walleye to 14lbs. There are always opportunities to catch other game fish such as: Goldeye, Rocky Mountain Whitefish, Burbot, or even Grayling. The Alberta record Walleye was caught in the Athabasca/Pembina River, just over 15 lbs. We fish in the Athabasca County, Smith (Lesser Slave River) region, and the Fort Assinboine region. At times this river is as good as a fly-in fishing lake and only a 90 minute drive from Edmonton, makes a great day trip. Best times to reserve your fishing trip on this river are June 1st to June 20th and between mid July to October 31st.

This river is surrounded by pristine fauna, offering ample wildlife viewing along the shore or in the sky above and houses a wonderful population of game fish, such as Walleye, Northern Pike, Burbot, Goldeye, Rocky Mountain Whitefish, Bull Trout, Grayling and Rainbow Trout.

All guided fishing trips include: A Professional Fishing Guide, 7 to 10 hours of fishing, use of fishing all equipment and tackle, bait, lifejackets, rain gear, use of binoculars, a hearty lunch (full day trips only), snacks, beverages, King Fisher jet boat.
